Meet the Political Science Department Where: Modular Unit (located outside the library) When: 4:30pm-6pm What: A chance for Political Science majors and students interested in the major to meet and share refreshments with the faculty.

Lacrosse Informational Meeting Where: JYC 2nd Floor When: 7pm Why: Emmanuel is adding Men’s Lacrosse at the club level for the 2010-2011 season and plans to make this sport varsity in the 2011-2012 season.

Alternative Spring Break Information Session Where: Academic Science Center, Room 112 When: 8pm. This year ASB groups will travel to Phoenix, AZ, New Orleans, LA & Wheeling, WV.

Announcement: INT*1101*05 Added Pre-Internship & Career Planning Class Where: Administration Building Room 442 When: Mondays: Nov 2nd, 9th, and 16th, 4:15-5:15pm What: Added Pre-internship class which is open to Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores. Register through the Registrar via an add form, no signatures required. This course is a requirement for anyone planning to intern, including global studies majors who will not student teach.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Halloween Town. What: Volunteers needed for various jobs, some including dressing up in costume, during a benefit for Boston Medical Center. Where: BMC When: Sunday, October 25th. Two shifts available, morning/early afternoon or afternoon/early evening. Email Donna Centrella via the EC Portal if interested.

Emmanuel’s Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer Service What: Volunteers needed to greet, read, and be bread distributors at this Emmanuel tradition to honor the gift of diversity in the spirit of gratitude. Where: The EC Chapel When: November 17, 2009 @ 12:20pm. Contact Jen Reis, Campus Minister, at reisje2@emmanuel.edu if interested.
